Greetings Fellow Falconeers!!
Well here it is March and both January and February have come and gone. I did not attend the NPD All Ford Show in Silver Springs this year. I had registered but I did not have my car ready and Iím glad I didnít. Those of you that went are to be complimented. Tough weather! From the pictures I saw it looked like there were about 200 cars (normally about 650). And we did not meet in February due to schedule overload on our part.
We cancelled our General Membership meeting that was scheduled for January and we have rescheduled that meeting for Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 at the Plant City Train Depot. We have met there in the past and it is quite convenient. That Saturday is also the day of the monthly Plant City Cruise In so plan accordingly. Letís see some Falcons there! Some of us might even gather at Snellgroveís Restaurant for lunch.
I have installed replacement window frame assemblies in my hard top. Much more complicated than I initially thought but a good improvement on my car and while that requires removal of the interior, it made sense to address some minor issues hiding in the doors and behind the rear seat. I think that now I could do it in 10% of the time it took. I even found some repairs from a few decades ago that were not done as well as they should have. They are right now.
Whoís going to the FCA Regional event in Pensacola March 24-25th? I am planning on going. Letís see if any of us can travel together. Safety in numbers you know. I am driving, leaving on Thursday and intending to make it in one day.
