PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

I would like to thank all that attended the 16th Annual Silver Springs Mustang and Ford Roundup. The Falcon Club of America was parked in the same area of the park -- right at the entrance -- as it has been for the past four years. This year's weather was the coldest that I can remember for a Silver Springs show. In spite of the freezing temperatures, we had 15 Falcons in our group. Thanks to all club members who helped to coordinate the show.

The only award that I know anyone received was Chuck Beason for his really fine 1965 Sprint Hardtop. If anyone else received an award, let Carolyn know so she can mention it in the next newsletter.

National Parts Depot always does a great job sponsoring this show, and I feel that this is one of my favorite Ford shows. Hopefully, next year the weather will be a lot better and we can get a larger group of Falcons at Silver Springs.

Our   next event will be the 23rd Annual Mustang and Ford Roundup at Waterford Lakes Town Center on Alafaya Trail in East Orlando. We hope to have a good turnout of Suncoast Falcons at this show. I encourage all Suncoast Chapter members to bring their family and friends to this and all club events.

Please remember to send in news items and information to Carolyn -- this is an important link for all club members.
