January Meeting

Reference the Turkey Rod Run:

We would like to thank Ron Savolaine’s wife Connie for the American flags she made for all the members that attended. Please excuse my over site. These flags were greatly appreciated by all. Thank You Very Much Connie.

Suncoast Chapter Membership Renewal

Once again it is time to renew our membership in the Suncoast Chapter. Membership renewals are due in January each year and if not renewed by end of March, member name will be placed on the inactive roster. Remember, you must be a member of the Falcon Club of America and in good standing to be a member of a Chapter of the Falcon Club of America. You should be receiving or have received a Membership Renewal Form to complete and return with your 2010 dues. Information on this form is used to keep the mailing list up to date along with the Chapter Roster. Completed form and dues for 2010 should be returned to Suncoast Chapter Secretary/Treasurer, Tom Wanzie.

Silver Springs Mustang and Ford Round Up

It was COLD…… There was a little sleet and a little snow, but a lot of fellowship and good friends. All of the attractions inside were closed. Next year will be better. Hope to see you all there.

 This Months Recipe

Now that it will be warming up I thought maybe a good old tea drink would do the trick and make your day. Here is an old recipe for Spiced Tea that went around in the early 60’s. Let’s see how many remember our mothers making this one.

SPICED TEA

2 cups Tang

1 cup Lipton Instant Tea

1 ½ cups sugar (more if desired)

1 package Lemon Twist (instant lemonade)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground cloves

Make using Instant Tea instructions. You can drink with ice or drink hot.
